Bagley's Teton Mountain Ranch!

If you  are planning a vacation to Jackson Hole Wyoming or the Teton Peaks and Teton Valley area you have got to come see us!

The Bagley Ranch  has been in operation since the late 1800's, at which time they were raising sheep, hay, grain and potatoes and had a small dairy. Over the years they have changed from sheep to beef cattle, and today it is still a working ranch with beef, hay and grain.

Now doing business as Bagley’s Teton Mountain Ranch, the fourth generation has diversified by adding elk to the operation.  They want to share what they have learned about these beautiful, majestic animals and are now taking horse-drawn wagon rides through our elk in the summer and horse-drawn sleigh rides in the winter.  Their herd consists of over 100 head–bulls, cows and calves.

Many hours have been spent in the Big Hole Mountains on the west side of beautiful Teton Valley herding sheep or cattle. Come and share the Big Hole Mountains with us as we take you on a mountain trail ride.

Enjoy an exciting horse-drawn wagon or sleigh ride through the elk or a scenic mountain trail ride in the Big Hole Mountains (right next to Jackson Hole) in the beautiful Caribou Targhee National Forest. You'll have an experience not to be forgotten!

Trail Rides
Whether you choose an easy ride or a more challenging one, you'll see some of the most spectacular views of the Teton Mountain Range and a magnificent view of Teton Valley, including the Teton River winding through the patchwork design of the agricultural valley floor.
If you want a bit more of a western experience, you can help herd cattle and even learn how to throw a rope.

Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides and Elk Tours
Picture yourself leisurely sliding through glistening white snow, the beautiful Caribou Targhee National Forest in the background, surrounded by majestic elk!
In February and March the bulls will drop their last-year’s antlers and their new antlers begin to grow.
Elk are very curious. They will get very close so they can get a good look at you! Some of them even like their ears scratched. Be sure to bring your camera because they like their picture taken ... especially with you!
Our winter sleigh rides begin December 1st and continue through March 31st, Monday through Saturday.  The rides last approximately one hour.
